The Juice Fast: Progress

As you know I started doing a juice fast this week, and was hoping to make it last at least two weeks. 
Well, I have an extremely hard time with self control around food. Which was kinda the point of the fast to help me get get rid of that "addiction". I was doing pretty well the first day and I felt really good about myself, but then the next day I got a really bad craving for something solid, and I caved. I am pretty upset that I let myself cave because once I give in to my temptations once, it's a whole heck of a lot easier to do it again. 
Also, I've run out of food to juice soo I need to get my mother to buy me more fruits and veggies. 
I'm determined to make this second week work better than the first.
In order to help myself with this I've decided that I have to take a picture of each and everything that I eat and post it on my Blogilates account. If I wouldn't feel comfortable having all the people on Blogilates see me snacking away at some salty crackers or chips then why should I feel comfortable putting that into my body?
So I need to continue working on my self control, remembering that the end result won't be obtained without sticking to my plan, and that I wont feel guilty if I don't give in. 
Also, I am hoping to start running again this week, if the weather permits! Other wise I will be working out inside, which I don't really like to do because it's hard to breathe.

The Juice Fast

Today is the first day of my juice fasting journey. 
Juice fasting is an extremely hard thing to do and requires ALOT of self control, but I am so ready to do this.

When juice fasting it is important to do it healthfully, have good motivation, and stick with it.
In order to make sure that I am doing it healthfully, and not actually starving myself I did some research before hand. I have been wanting to do a juice fast for the longest time, but this is my  actual first time doing one. So I used a website (Just on Juice) and a book that I had waiting for me on my book shelf. ( Juice Fasting & Detoxification by Steve Meyerowitz) 

If you want to juice fast also I suggest that you look at those too sources, or go to your library and take a look around.

My motivation for juice fasting is cleaning out my body, losing weight, and getting rid of my addiction to foods that I shouldn't be eating in the amounts that I do. I'd also love to do this in conjunction with Flat Tummy Tea. But I would first need to order it. 

My fast should last two to three weeks, and yes that does sound like a long time, but the longer that you do a juice fast, the better the results are. Also, I have three weeks till spring break and I would like to look my absolute best. Yes, you might be thinking that I would have to be crazy to do this, but the health benefits from it are just too good!

Spring Playlist

p.s: When I was younger I was totally in love with the song Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty. I was also totally in love with Disney's Sleeping Beauty. So, a couple weeks ago I was listening to my Lana Del Ray pandora station and the Lana version of that song came on and I completely fell in love with that song all over again. The way Lana sings it so sooo beautiful.

Great News!


I am very excited to share that I finally have a new computer, andd a camera! 
My sister decided  to lend me her Nikon while she is away at school so now I don't have to stress about buying a new one for at least a little while. 

My new computer is the new Dell Inspiron 15. I absolutly love the new Windows 8.1 software. It does take a little bit of getting used to, but its so clean. And besides, it's always good to try new things!

I am hoping to have more high quality posts to share with you all! 

And if you have any ideas for me, feel free to share!
