Home Sweet Home

My room mates and I all settled into our apartment on Saturday and Sunday. We weren't too sure what to expect because we only knew the address of the apartment and hadn't seen any photos of the interior. From our orientation class we were under the impression that our apartment would be very tiny and kind of a struggle to live in. Boy, we were blessed with the apartment that we got! 

I was the first person to move in and upon entering the apartment I only saw a hall way, which gave me the impression that the two doors that came off of it were all that comprised our living arrangements. As I walked down the hall I was quite honestly flabergasted when I turned a corner to see a MASSIVE living room with two more bedrooms and a giant bathroom branching off of it. 

We have a total of five girls living in the apartment which meant that we would either get a two bedroom where three girls would have to share or a three bedroom where one girl got her own room. We were blessed with the three bedroom option, and my room mates are all gems and let me have the third room to myself. 

My room has two beds, two desks, a dresser, 2 shelves, and a closet. I obviously only sleep in one of the beds so the second bed is just kinda there. I use one desk for my study/computer area, and the second desk as my vanity. 

The room's designer painted flowers on the walls and chose a very bright and happy orange theme. My bedroom at home is cucumber green and has very calm vibes so I never imagined having such a bright room. At first I didn't really like it, but after the first day I saw how the sunlight poured in through the window and the bright colors just made everything feel happy and awesome. So my future room will probs be having pops of bright colors in it now!
