Amalfi Coast Day 3: Pompeii

After an early morning leaving the hostel we headed from Sorrento to Pompeii to visit this ancient site. We explored the ruins for a good hour and then got lunch a nearby restaurant. Here is where I learned what buffalo mozzarella is. For those of you who are lactose - intolerant, THIS IS FOR YOU! (Still do some of your own research, but I'm pretty sure you can eat this without a reaction). It also tastes great. I've also never been surrounded by more handsome waiters at one time. The whole experience was just fantastic. After some exploring of the very *interesting* tents of souvenirs it was time to head back to Florence! 

This trip marked the end of my beach trips for the semester, but left me with a slew of places I need to go back to in Southern Italy. Most importantly being Naples. (If my hopes for this summer fall into place I'll be going!)
